本剧讲述一名正义的记者谭伟（万弘杰 饰）为挽救一名逃犯，努力追寻真相，却发现案情扑朔迷离，一名追捕警察竟成了真凶，然而，公布真相后，谭伟又发现其中的疑点，继续查案，想不到自己却成了凶手，不得已亡命天涯，最后在梅子（徐路 饰）的帮助下，他配合警方，准备力擒真凶。
