原本平静的生活，就这样被突如其来的灾难所打破。因未婚妻遭人强暴，愤怒的男人张二力寻仇杀人，不得不夺路而逃。他的孪生哥哥张大力是一名人民警察，大力虽然心疼弟弟，却无法让头上的国徽蒙羞。经过百般劝说无效，大力准备用手铐铐住弟弟，谁知推搡追逐中大力突然晕倒。二力将哥哥送到医院后再度逃亡。经过医生的争端，一家人得知大力竟然罹患血癌，生命受到死神的威胁。而一奶同胞的二力无疑是拯救哥哥最后的希望。或者为了营救生命而戴上手铐，锒铛入狱；或者亡命天涯，背负一生无法摆脱的愧疚悔恨。 张家兄弟的命运面临重大的考验……
