1941年卫国战争爆发，苏联人民和军队在经过战争最初的恐惧和慌乱，经过冰天雪地的莫斯科保卫战之后，战场上出现了暂时的沉寂，然而局部的战斗仍时有发生。当时，俄罗斯大地已进入到春季的泥泞期，战车无法正常运转，德国侵略军被迫停止了大规模的战役，苏德双方都转入军事防御期。本剧所讲述的故事就是在这样的历史大背景下发生的。1942年夏天，一个代号为“171会让站”的村子。这天。驻守会让站的军运指挥员瓦斯科夫准尉迎来了一批充满青春活力的女高射炮手……
