本剧讲述了主人公·原田幸太郎（阿部隆史 饰）是赢得过无数次无罪判决的能干律师。作为法律节目的评论员也很活跃，在社会上的知名度也很高。他讨厌工作被影响，50年来一直坚持“独身主义”。但是某天，他突然遇到了命运的安排，邂逅了铃木奈露拉（松隆子 饰），决定与她闪电结婚。然而，本应过着幸福的新婚生活，却有着不能对任何人说的“某个秘密”。作为一名律师，同时也是一名丈夫，幸太郎担心“与这位妻子能活下去吗？”一边纠结着，一边面对人生最大的考验，而逐渐明朗化的“秘密”动摇着夫妇之间的爱情…
