清末，向千峰(白彪)、成大海和颜飞(刘江)三师兄弟盗取金缕玉衣失手，大海丧命，颜飞下狱，千峰侥幸逃脱。师妹韩湘莹(林漪琪)跟颜飞早已珠胎暗结，千峰遂将爱意收藏，对她默默照顾，并将其毕生武学授予其子承武(陈嘉辉)，湘莹大为感动。十多年后，承武与千峰养子天恩(陈庭威)认识了戏班的一对金兰姐妹凤翩翩(何嘉丽)和成小芹(刘美娟)，四人之间的感情缠绕，错综复杂。原来小芹实为大海遗孤，与母亲(胡美仪)相依为命，后来颜飞成功逃狱，误以为千峰当年见利忘义，如今更夺其所爱，新仇旧恨一一爆发……
