天才检察官黄始木（曹承佑 饰）因为儿时脑部手术导致情感缺失，但却拥有超乎寻常的观察和推理能力。某天，他被卷入一起连环杀人案，但由于无法理解凶手的动机而陷入困境。此时，热血女警韩汝珍（裴斗娜 饰）加入案件调查，她坚信每一个细微的线索都隐藏着关键的秘密。两人在合作中，共同追查案件的真相，发现这起连环杀人案背后隐藏着更大的阴谋。随着案件的深入，他们发现凶手选择的目标都与一个神秘组织有关。 在追查过程中，黄始木与韩汝珍逐渐产生了微妙的情感变化，与此同时他们还将面临最为严苛的考验……
