CBS宣布他们正在研究开发《海军罪案调查处 NCIS》系列的第四部剧《海军罪案调查处：夏威夷 NCIS: Hawaii》，这部剧由《海军罪案调查处：新奥尔良 NCIS: New Orleans》的幕后Christopher Silber与Jan Nash及《海豹突击队 SEAL Team》的Matt Bosack联手制作。 目前这项目的情报不多，只知是讲述一支被设置在夏威夷的海军罪案调查处新团队，而且不像过去的衍生剧，这剧不会在其他系列剧率先登场。 过去《海军罪案调查处：洛杉矶 NCIS: Los Angeles》倒是曾经和《夏威夷特勤组 Hawaii Five-0》联动，因此来过夏威夷。
